Two years later or April Update

Hello friends and family,              *Ok warning. Please bear with me on this one. I’ve already wrote and rewrote this letter three times. It’s hard when you have so much to say to condense it to what you are about to read. April 25, 2015. Two years ago. Man I cannot believe it’s been two years already. I was in Kathmandu, Nepal in a hotel garden when the 7.8 earthquake hit. It happened on a Saturday which was my day off. I had plans to go to this older part of town where the houses are hundreds if not thousands of years old to explore and take photos. God had other plans however. Beauty for Ashes, the company I was volunteering with at the time, had set up a booth at a local celebration for the Dutch expats. I was not required to help since it was my day off but I felt strongly that I was to give up my day off and help. Thank God literally, for the prompting of the Holy Spirit. March 2017 Update

Hello friends and family! Yes the blog looks different I thought it could use an update! Let me know if you have any problems navigating it. We are now half way done with our school! It seems crazy that we are already at this point, only three months left to go. God has still been teaching me to love the women here well. Which as you know in any relationship knowing how to love well can look different for each individual person and can sometimes be hard to do.             I have been thinking about the future and what I will do after this, and honestly, I have no idea. However, I have been enjoying the times I get to teach here and look forward to teach more. I love teaching on missions and encouraging others to get involved. I think we live in an exciting time for missions. Now more than ever the nations are coming to us, what an opportunity and privilege we have to share the love of God with them!     ...
