March 2018 Update
Hello friends and family, Wow it’s been a while since I have sent out an update! I apologize about that, let me catch you all up on what is new. Since August I have been working as a substitute teacher for the Anchorage School District and at a private preschool in Eagle River, between the two jobs I manage to stay busy. I have also been taking a Spanish language class which is something I have always wanted to do and I am loving it! Some of you may remember that about a year ago I started an online course to get certified to teach English as a second language, well I officially have three weeks left and then I am certified! I am so excited to be done with that. In regards to going on to become a midwife I do not feel like that is something I am supposed to do right now, as some of you will remember me writing in past updates the state of Alaska changed a lot of it’s laws regarding entry level midwives and to work internationally in almost every country you need to be a nurse mid...
