June 2017 Update
Hello friends and family,
Happy Summer! We have
done it, we have made it to the end. This is the last week of GoMidwife Homer,
AK 2017. We graduate the students on Thursday the 29th and everyone
will be heading their separate ways by July 1st. It has been an interesting
six months and God has grown me a lot though this past year. As far as staff
duties it has been one of the easiest staff jobs I have had, but in regards to interpersonal
relationships it has been the most difficult, but God is always faithful and he
always brings life and healing if we allow him.
I have grown to love
Homer, AK and have been involved in an amazing church here. It will be so difficult
to leave this place, but I am excited for the future and what God has in store
for me next. So, what is next for Kylee? Well I am planning on leaving Homer on
July 2 and moving back to Eagle River. I will be heading to northern WA in July
to take a break for a couple weeks to visit my parents, process this past year
and really seek God for some concrete answers on what is next for me (look for
a future update about that). I also look forward to spending time in some warm
weather!!
I want to say thank you
to all of you who have prayed and supported me financially these past six
months. You have enabled me to help this ministry. You have helped to build up
missionary midwives and you have helped to expand the Kingdom of God. Thank
you, thank you, Thank you!!!
Be blessed,
Kylee Nicholas
